Austin Dog Parks
Is anyone familiar with the dog parks in Austin? The only one I know about is the one off of I-35 and Riverside... does anyone ever go there? Are there any others I should be putting on my radar?

Our favorite is Bull Creek! It is off 360 & Lakewood. Cheyenne LOOOOVES it. There is a large off-leash grassy area to run and chase balls. However, the best part is the naturally spring-fed water area. It is shallow enough for you to wade around with your dog while they splash and play.
We like it better than the Riverside park... we feel the Riverside location is really dusty. Bull Creek has more grass and the option of playing in the water.

Our favorite is Red Bud Island off of Red Bud Trail. Lots of room to run and swim, and since it is an island there is only one place in or out so you dont have to wory so much about your friends running off. This is sure fire bet if your dog is a big swimmer, and you can even swim too, as its the very tip of Town Lake, just past the damn of Lake Austin.
