Traveling with English bulldog, any suggestions.

Am moving to Hawaii and taking my dog with me, i have never traveled with him out of state and am not sure how he will take the move, is there someone that can provide me with tips on what's best to make it easy on him, since they are not heat tolerant. I am looking into flying with continetal airlines since they are pet friendly.

The issue with flying on Continental is that they do not allow bulldogs during the summer. Even with their climate-controlled conditions, they will refuse bull dogs because they tend to have so many overheating/health problems.
